Course Aims::

The course aims to introduce students to the conceptual contributions of thinkers of Jewish orientation to the philosophical discoure of the 20th century. Central texts by philosophers such as Cohen, Buber, Rosenweig, Fackenheim and Levinas are investigated with special regard to their contribution of the problem of (existential) time, hermeneutics and ethics, as well as the significance of the holocaust.
