TH 9000, Approaches and Methods in the Study of the Hebrew Bible

Course Aims::

The aims of this course unit are to introduce students to a variety of approaches to, and methods of study of, the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament which have been employed during the twentieth century, and to consider their respective contributions. The course entails a guided review of selected literature with regular tutorial discussions.

 

Prerequisities:

Students will have studied TH1140 Biblical Hebrew or equivalent and normally TH2170 Hebrew Texts I or equivalent.
