Title: 'MEDITATIONS THROUGH THE JEWISH
YEAR'.
Abstract: A gentle, mellow session, in
which Rabbi Wittenberg talks about and reads from the book he is working
on about the emotional and spiritual themes of the year. There will be a
chance to hear about lights, trees, eggs, bones and charoseth. The session
will be a balance of listening, reflection and discussion.
The Speaker: Jonathan Wittenberg studied
English at Cambridge and trained as a teacher before gaining semicha and
becoming the rabbi of New North London Synagogue. He is the co-ordinator
of the multi-faith chaplaincy at the North London Hospice. Jonathan is interested
in Jewish literature, values and spirituality. He likes people, animals
and plants.
