2. Ya'akov Wise will present Piety, Poverty and Persecution: A radical new look at Anglo-Jewish history 1880-1980, on 10 Tuesdays, 6.00 -8.00 p.m., commencing 9th October, at the Manchester Jewish Community Centre, Bury Old Road). There is a fee of £130 for each course, but anyone whose total household income is no more than £17,910 per annum can apply for a bursary and will only be required to pay 40% of the fee.
