Gnostic Society Library
Site contains a vast collection of primary documents relating to the Gnostic tradition as well as a selection of audio lectures and brief archive notes, and Nag Hammadi Library catalogue. Journal of Hebrew Scriptures
An electronic journal with articles and reviews related to the Hebrew Scriptures with a focus on gender issues. Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls
A very good starting point for researchers of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Site features include a guide for beginning researchers, a list of recent publications related to the Dead Sea Scrolls, a bibliography, an electronic bulletin board listing conferences and seminars on the Dead Sea Scrolls, an overview of courses at the Hebrew University, links to Museums in Israel, a virtual tour of the Qumram Cave and related research articles.

Comments Interested teachers could use this,as well as students. Excellent source, pictorial and Historical but few school pupils would use it. A valuable introduction to the subject.

Postmodern Bible-Amos
Experimental multimedia Bible study site by Dr. Tim Buckeley. The site is still under construction.  Site features full text, commentary on the use of form, language and imagery in the text, a Bible dictionary option, and a newsletter. The information concentrates on the Book of Amos.

ETANA
The ETANA (Electronic Tools and Ancient Near Eastern Archives) site contains original core text and links to sites dedicated to the study of the Ancient Near East. Site includes core texts available in PDF format, description of ETANA project and funding, and ABZU bibliographic database with links to articles in HTML and PDF format. Primary Sources include: Breasted's Egyptian texts, Cuneiform Texts from the British Museum, Gilgamesh Epic, Babylonian contracts. Secondary Sources include: A Dictionary of the Targumim, the Talmud Babli and Yerushalmi, and the Midrashic literature by Marcus Jastrow, "Hebräische Archäologie" by Immanuel Benzinger, "Lectures on the Religion of the Semites: first series, the fundamental institutions" by William Robertson Smith, etc. An enormous, searchable archive of the earlier, published materials.

Ancient Near East Sources (SOAS)
This site is concerned primarily with Islamic Law, with a wide range of links to both primary and secondary materials (including sections of a book on The Arab-Israeli Accords: Legal Perspectives. There are also links (not all current) to text and sites focusing on Ancient Near Eastern, Roman and Hindu legal materials. Primary Sources include: Hammurabi's Code of Laws (translated by L. W. King), and Treaties and Legal Contracts from the Ancient Near East, Secondary Sources include: the full text of Ancient Law by H.S. Maine.
