The Schlesinger Institute (Machon Schlesinger) at the Shaare Zedek Hospital, Jerusalem, is compiling an archive of modern Halachic questions that arise in the medico-legal sphere. The site includes an introductory essay on Jewish Medical Ethics with links to more detailed essays on (so far) abortion, cloning, the laws of saving lives (based on the decisions reached by the late Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach z`l), organ transplants, against medical advice and genetic engineering. The site also offers a service of responding to halakhic questions.
